Good one: Sunderland player has no interest in January move despite ‘big money’ speculations, and he’s delighted with Regis Le Bris.

Sunderland’s young squad may be producing outstanding performances on the pitch, but they are also grabbing the attention of Europe’s top clubs. Regis Le Bris is fortunate to have an abundance of great youth talent in his Sunderland squad, and the dynamic crop of young players is now on track for a play-off spot this season.

Still, while the Sunderland squad has a terrific balance right now, there is always the possibility that those foundations will be ripped apart by transfer interest in the January transfer window and thereafter. Naturally, the likes of Jobe Bellingham and Chris Rigg are continually connected with moves away from the Stadium of Light, but one wonderkid is more than willing to stay.

Chris Rigg is quite glad to stay at Sunderland right now. According to sources at the Sunderland Echo, Rigg is not interested in a January move because he wants to continue his development at his boyhood club for the foreseeable future. Despite reports of interest from Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, and even local rivals Newcastle United, among others. Rigg appears to have no plans to leave Sunderland anytime soon, and any talk about his future is thought to be led by individuals outside of the club.

The fact that he is playing regularly and appears to be getting the support he needs from Le Bris right now, puts Rigg in no doubt that his immediate future rests with Sunderland, and that a move away would not Indeed, Rigg has shown constant signs of growth under Le Bris, and he wants this to continue because he enjoys working with his manager.

Chris Rigg will eventually join a quality team, but Sunderland can benefit from the transfer. If Sunderland can keep Rigg in January, it will be a huge help to their promotion chances this season. Of course, if the Black Cats succeed this year, they will most likely be able to keep Rigg, Jobe, and any other prized talent in their ranks for at least another season. However, it is quite likely that Rigg will move on and join one of England’s or abroad’s premier clubs. However, when Rigg leaves, he will bring in ‘vast money’ for Sunderland, which may be extremely beneficial to the club in the long run.

Sunderland has consistently been successful in developing young talent and selling it for a large profit, and how they reinvest that money will decide how the club’s rise continues. With so many talented young players in the Sunderland roster right now, the Black Cats could end up making a lot of money in the next year or two.
