Pittsburgh Steelers: ESPN reports the unleashing of Justin Fields’ package against the Ravens: ‘We will see…

Pittsburgh — The requests for Justin Fields to play in the Pittsburgh Steelers offense, despite issues from Russell Wilson and the rest of the team, have grown during the four-game losing streak. Fields, on the other hand, has been out of the lineup for some weeks due to an injury and has only recently returned. This might allow the Fields package to expand and become a part of the game plan.

Fields understands the impact he can have on the game, but he is not promising anything. “I am not sure. “We’ll see,” Fields responded when asked if he would be used. However, Fields hopes the Ravens spend some time attempting to stop his set of plays. This might cut into Wilson’s offensive preparation time. If the Steelers try to throw a curve ball at Wilson, it may slide past the Ravens because of Fields’ presence.

“I think just being able to use my legs and stuff like that forces the defense to watch video on it, walkthrough it, and waste time on it whether we’re going to run it or not. “So I think it’s definitely a plus for us,” Fields explained. Fields is always prepared to play if the situation requires it. This year, the package came through in clutch situations, iced games against the Ravens and Bengals. However, they have yet to make an explosive play off the package that changes the game.

“I’m always preparing the same, you guys know that,” Fields went on. “I’m always preparing like I’m playing, so if my number is called, I’ll be ready to go.” The Steelers could attempt to expand their repertoire with Fields. Even if not, the goal is that some strategic thinking will push them to devote a little more time to the Fields package and the threats it brings.
