Miami Dolphins’ top two players that need to resign in 2024

First and foremost, I apologize for my absence during the last several days. I had to go recover some stuff from the property we sold in Texas, and of course, a gigantic ice storm chose to hit the majority of the south and the Gulf Coast at once. Now safely returned home!

Kevin mentioned in his piece this week the huge list of players set to enter free agency for our Miami Dolphins. Miami can re-sign any of its own players before free agency opens on March 13th at 4 p.m. EST.

The list goes as follows:

Running back

Salvon Ahmed

Tight end

Tyler Kroft

Wide Receiver

Braxton Berrios

Robbie Chosen

Chase Claypool

River Cracraft

Cedrick Wilson, Jr.

Offensive line

Jonotthan Harrison

Robert Jones (RFA)

Kendall Lamm

Connor Williams

Isaiah Wynn

Defensive line

Raekwon Davis

Da’Shawn Hand

Christian Wilkins

Linebackers

Justin Houston

Melvin Ingram

Bruce Irvin

Calvin Munson

Andrew Van Ginkel

Cornerbacks

Eli Apple

Justin Bethel

Elijah Campbell (RFA)

Nik Needham

Safeties

DeShon Elliott

Brandon Jones

Special Teams

So tonight’s question of the day is: what “category” does each player on this list fall into?

The categories are:

Must Re-Sign (Player that we are required to sign regardless). Just work it out, Grier!)
Need to Re-Sign (Player that we need on this roster but can’t afford to pay crazy money to)
Would Like To Re-Sign (Good player you like, but do not overspend for a replaceable man)
Re-Sign For Depth (Player sings for depth with a bargain contract but does not miss if gone)
Do not resign (guys who can play but need an upgrade)
Dear God, no! (Self-explanatory)
