In Week 17, a previous Green Bay Packers trade has gone viral.

Over the last few seasons, the Green Bay Packers have been at the center of several stunning moves. Of course, the Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers deals were game changers, sending the team in an entirely new (and younger) path.

However, another deal made by the Packers this year before the deadline has gone totally viral today.

In Week 17, the Green Bay Packers-Buffalo Bills trade is going viral.

Rasul Douglas, the Packers’ cornerback, and a fifth-round pick were moved to the Buffalo Bills for a third-round pick before the trade deadline. Given the Packers’ struggles in the secondary this season, the deal undoubtedly raised some eyebrows among fans and players. When Jaire Alexander was sidelined, Douglas was their number two cornerback and even their number one.

Douglas has excelled in Buffalo since being traded. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler described his impact on the Bills’ defense:

What does trading CB Rasul Douglas to Bills mean for Packers?

Rasul Douglas had three interceptions, two fumble recoveries, five pass deflections, and one sack in eight games with the #Bills.

Buffalo received a significant payout in the trade with Green Bay.

This was the most recent highlight for Douglas:

Of course, Packers supporters are happy to see Douglas doing well elsewhere because he was a Packers fan favorite, but it is bittersweet.
