After the Lions’ loss to the Jaguars, Jared Goff makes a brutally honest admission about the season.

In a 52-6 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, who suffered their worst defeat in franchise history, the Detroit Lions displayed their offensive prowess on Sunday.

With a perfect passer rating (158.3) against the Jags, quarterback Jared Goff recovered from his five-interception performance in last week’s victory against the Houston Texans, completing 24 of his 29 throws for 412 yards and four touchdowns. Goff became the only quarterback in history with a passer rating of 158.3 and multiple games with 400 yards or more.

Three of the Lions’ best skill position players also helped the team, as wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and running backs David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs combined for five touchdowns.

Since the Green Bay Packers’ Paul Hornung and Jim Taylor accomplished this feat in 1960, Montgomery and Gibbs became the second rushing tandem to have eight or more touchdowns in ten games.

Coach Dan Campbell stated during the postgame press conference that linebacker Alex Anzalone, Detroit’s second-leading tackler, will likely miss six to eight weeks due to a broken forearm. Aidan Hutchinson, a talented defensive end for Detroit, shattered both his tibia and fibula in Week 6.

Jacksonville’s defeat of 46 points was its worst since a defeat of 44 points in 1995. There are concerns that this might be Doug Pederson’s last game as coach of the Jaguars, who have lost four straight games.

“That is beyond my control,” Pederson remarked. “Hey, I’ve been in this league for a while. It is evident that if it is going to happen, it will. At the same time, though, I have work to do.

Additionally, Pederson wouldn’t
