Breaking news: Steelers’ QB Shares Honest Opinion of His Play This Season…

With a 4-2 record, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens are tied for first place in the AFC North, and they’ve done it with their backup quarterback. Due to a calf injury that starter Russell Wilson sustained during training camp and that got worse the week before the season started, Justin Fields has been sidelined the whole season. Wilson is expected to be ready to play, though, as he is healthy and has been participating fully in practice since last week.
The defense’s performance has been a major factor in the Steelers’ 4-2. Only twice this season has the offense scored more than 20 points. Although Fields may have had his best and most complete game in last week’s 32–13 victory over the Raiders, his play has been patchy at best. Is it too late to get the permanent starting job, though?
According to Chris Adamski of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Fields stated, “I mean, I don’t think I’ve played good enough, if I’m being real with you.

” “If I’m being honest with myself, I don’t think there would be any kind of [discussion] about who should play and who shouldn’t if I performed well enough. We ended up with a few victories, and I’m obviously happy about that. However, there are still certain things I can do better, so I’m just going to keep working on them and improving.”
