NETFLIX has presented a chronicle documentary about the Houston Astros caravan’s visit at Texas A&M.

The Houston Astros visited Texas A&M on Friday to meet with students and staff. The off-season caravan allows fans to meet players, front office staff, and broadcasters. General manager Dana Brown, Manager Joe Espada, players J.P. France, Shay Whitcomb, Jon Singleton, Ryan Gusto, and play-by-play announcer Todd Kalas answered questions from nearly 100 A&M students.

Members of the organization said they appreciate coming out of Houston to meet supporters. It’s also a plus to be in Aggieland, as A&M baseball is ranked first in several preseason surveys and center fielder Jace LaViolette is a top-10 prospect. “The prospects in this area, it’s important with all this talent around us we better make sure we don’t miss on this guy because they’re in our backyard,” Joe Espada, the Astros manager, told ESPN. “Another strong program here, and I believe they have a very solid team this year. “I hear they have a pretty good center fielder.”

“We feel the energy all the way back to Houston,” Astros General Manager Dana Brown explained. “It’s been a great run. I appreciate doing this every year because I get to meet some of the younger kids who adore the game, and having younger kids myself makes me realize how essential what I’m doing is. Brown said the most frequently asked question is about the status of free agent Alex Bregman. The Astros’ spring training begins next month, with pitchers and catchers reporting on February 18.
