Everton is in talks with the present club of a “huge talent” about signing him during the summer transfer window, according to noted journalist Fabrizio Romano. Everton Transfer News New acquisitions are needed all over the pitch for the Blues this summer, although adding firepower is maybe more important than defensive solidity, given Sean Dyche’s team only scored 40 goals in 38 Premier League matches in 2023/24.

Eddie Nketiah, an Arsenal striker, has emerged as a rumoured Everton target before the start of next season, with the Gunners man unlikely to be a significant starter at the Emirates with the likes of Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus ahead of him in the attacking pecking order. He did, however, score five goals in ten league appearances last season and might be a wise signing for the Merseyside club.

Davinson Sanchez, a former Tottenham centre-back, has also been linked with a move to Goodison Park this summer. The Colombian is now playing for Turkish giants Galatasaray. The 28-year-old may be considered as an ideal replacement for Jarrad Branthwaite, but the young defedner now appears to be staying following the imminent sale of Amadou Onana.

It has also been suggested that Everton may try to hijack a deal for Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove in the summer window, leaping ahead of Fiorentina. Jose Mourinho has regarded him as a “wonderful lad,” and at 22, he would be a long-term addition who could potentially fill Onana’s vacuum. Everton in discussions to sign “huge talent” Romano wrote on X on Friday evening that Everton are in talks with Napoli about signing midfielder Jesper Lindstrom this summer, with the Serie A club likely to let him go.

Everton are in negotiations with Napoli to sign winger Jesper Lindstrøm, their next top target. Negotiations are underway, and Napoli is willing to trade Jasper if a good proposal comes in, with EFC on board. Despite the links, there are no talks about Jackson Tchatchoua from Verona. As previously stated, offense is a vital area for Everton to focus on, especially if Dominic Calvert-Lewin leaves, and Lindstrom might be an excellent option in wide offensive midfield and wide positions.

The £47,000-per-week ace made 22 Serie A appearances in his first season at Napoli in 2023/24, but the fact that only two of those were starts explains why he may be interested in moving on. Meanwhile, he has 16 caps for Denmark, and his former Eintracht Frankfurt teammate Kevin Trapp has praised him previously.

“Jesper is still extremely young, yet he is a phenomenal talent. He’s showing it more frequently these days. He’s playing at a high level and is in good shape. The goal he scored against Leverkusen last week was magnificent, and I believe he is full of confidence right now.” Lindstrom, 24, is at an ideal age to step in as a major player for Everton, with 14 goals and 14 assists in 80 appearances for Frankfurt demonstrating his ability in the final third. Granted, his one year at Napoli has been disappointing, but there is no reason why he shouldn’t be a valuable addition to Goodison.
