A woman who stabbed her lover to death during a domestic dispute in Liverpool has received a life sentence. Gary Morgan, 36, was discovered fatally injured at a residence in Lavan Close, Everton, on April 10. He died from a stab wound to the chest. Merseyside Police stated that he had been a victim of domestic abuse. Emma Walsh, 31, of Lavan Close, was convicted of murder at Liverpool Crown Court and sentenced to at least 18 years in prison.

Following the sentencing, Detective Chief Inspector Mark Drew stated, “This is a really terrible case that resulted in the untimely loss of a much-loved man. “Domestic violence is a multifaceted issue that can take many forms. “It can be psychological, financial, sexual, emotional and physical and can affect anyone regardless of sex, ethnicity or religious belief.” Mr Morgan’s family praised him as “a caring lad who brightened everyone’s day”. They went on to say, “No one should be the victim of domestic violence.” “Men should not be frightened to step forward. “It is not a sign of weakness, but of strength.”

Everton stabbing: murder arrests following the death of a guy with a puncture wound.

Two persons have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the stabbing of a man in Liverpool. Merseyside Police were called to Lavan Close in Everton at around 23:30 BST on Sunday. The police stated a 36-year-old guy was rushed to the hospital with a puncture wound to the side of his body, but he died. A 60-year-old man and a 30-year-old lady from Liverpool were eventually arrested. According to a police spokeswoman, Lavan Close and the surrounding neighborhood have been closed to allow crime scene investigators to undertake forensic inspections, as well as CCTV and house-to-house investigations.

A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the reason of the man’s death. Det Ch Insp Mark Drew urged anyone with information to contact him, saying detectives had made “two swift arrests” and the inquiry was “still in the very early stages as we try to establish exactly what happened”.
