The Green Bay Packers fanbase, along with many other NFL supporters, were watching the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles games, as well as the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs. Philadelphia won easily over Washington, and Kansas City won again due to controversy. The Green Bay Packers last appeared in the NFC Championship Game in 2016, against the Atlanta Falcons. Green Bay Packers fans, as well as other fan bases, are hope to return to the big game soon. Green Bay Packers and other NFL fans plan to boycott Super Bowl 59 after another Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles matchup.
The Super Bowl LIX will take place on Sunday, February 9, in New Orleans, Louisiana. For the second time in three seasons, the Philadelphia Eagles will face the Kansas City Chiefs. Many fans are disappointed with this matchup once again. Here’s what fans think about this clash this time:
Many NFL fans are sick of the Kansas City Chiefs appearing in the Super Bowl for the fifth time in six seasons and the Philadelphia Eagles for the third time in eight seasons. There is no doubt that the Chiefs receive every call from the officials throughout the playoffs. This is one of the reasons why Green Bay Packers and other fans intend to boycott the Super Bowl this year. You can’t blame anyone for wanting to do something else with their life on February 9 than watch the big game, knowing that the refs will always favor the Chiefs.
Controversial Calls
When the Chiefs trailed 22-21 in the fourth quarter on a fourth-down play, Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills got the first down, but the officials on the field disagreed. The CBS crew thought everything was wrong on the field, and everyone in the NFL witnessed the officiating garbage with the Chiefs firsthand.
In addition, in the first half, Kansas City made a reception that would have been an incomplete pass for 31 other NFL teams, but it was merely a catch for the Chiefs. People are now claiming that they will boycott the Super Bowl this season, but let’s hope they mean it. Hopefully, the ratings will be low, and they will send a message to the NFL that they need better referees and more parity throughout the league. The NFL nowadays is just as predictable as the WWE. Fans want something new every day, whether it’s a Super Bowl game between the Green Bay Packers and the Buffalo Bills or something else.
