Since the 2021 season, the 27-year-old cornerback has been sidelined with shoulder, back, groin and knee problems. Alexander has two years left on his contract, but his cap figure will jump to around $25 million in 2025, and the Green Bay Packers might save money by cutting connections with him. Several fans want Green Bay to let go of Alexander and his large deal, but Gutekunst isn’t rushing to make a decision on the two-time All-Pro.

That’s difficult, and I feel for him. He wants to be outside. “He wants to play.”
“We can surely keep Alexander. We are in the early phases of gathering information as a whole before we begin planning for next year. We could. “When he’s healthy and ready to play, he’s a decent player,” he added.
