BEST QUOTE OF DEMARIO DAVIS’ 2024 SEASON:
“When you play for a variety of clubs in this game, you realize that there are differences between supporters and families. One of my favorite aspects of playing in New Orleans since I arrived is that the bulk of our fans are family. That example, fans typically accompany a team on the road when they are on a roll. Family is with you through both good and terrible times. It’s no secret that our team is now going through a difficult period. In bad times, everyone is looking for the same thing. You are looking for both light and direction.
Over the following several minutes, I hope to provide some light and guidance. The message also emphasizes the importance of not panicking or worrying. We must stay together, united, and certain that we will overcome this. We shall return to what we all want to be. We have the right people in place to make these decisions. If you look at the squad, we draft well and perform well in free agency, and that is what keeps teams going in the long run.
We will ascend through consistency, good drafting, bringing in the right players, and timing. Light will return, so we will not panic or abandon ship; instead, we will continue to charge and go on, hoping to end the season 1-and-0, and then we will proceed from there. “That is my message.”
