Green Bay Packers: Josh Jacobs Reveals Big Secret Ahead of Week 16 Game Against New Orleans Saints

At this point, it’s easy to conclude that the Green Bay Packers made the correct move in signing running back Josh Jacobs this offseason.

The former Alabama Crimson Tide standout has been simply outstanding for the Packers’ offense, which is averaging 144.4 running yards per game — excellent for fourth in the league so far in the 2024 NFL season — owing in large part to Jacobs. Jacobs is not only effective, but also durable, having appeared in all 14 Packers games during his rookie year with the team.

Despite the fact that the Packers are practically certain to make the NFL playoffs with only three games remaining in the regular season, Jacobs wants to maintain his typical workload. Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs explains why he believes he will stay healthy. Jacobs also explained why he continues to feel good despite regular use, stating that he exploits his experience to his advantage.

“I think defenders don’t really hit me that hard I feel like,” Jacobs reported. “I choose and choose, too. One advantage of playing this long is that you know your angles, so even if I am tackled, I won’t get slammed on the tackle. Falling in a specific manner, taking angles from which I might utilize their force against them and greatly benefit myself. “I’ve been fairly clean.”

Jacobs has 1,147 running yards and 12 touchdowns on 265 carries this season, ranking third in the NFL behind Philadelphia Eagles’ Saquon Barkley (285) and Los Angeles Rams’ Kyren Williams (280). The Packers will want for Jacobs to continue his success when they face the New Orleans Saints at Lambeau Field on Sunday.
