Tony Mowbray claims: Jobe is attempting to get Sunderland out of the Championship.

The Bellingham brothers may one day play on the same squad. Right now, however, Jobe is attempting to get Sunderland out of the Championship. Jobe Bellingham’s goal last Saturday completed Sunderland’s amazing comeback against Swansea City, giving him his third goal and assist of the season. In the lead-up to January, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund have been linked with Bellingham, who is under contract at the Stadium of Light until 2028. Brentford is keeping an eye on Bellingham at Sunderland, as are a number of other undisclosed teams.

But football fans are excited about a possible Bellingham reunion in Madrid in January, after Jobe’s older brother Jude Bellingham won yet another trophy in Spain on Wednesday night. The Galacticos won the Intercontinental Cup on Wednesday, adding to Bellingham’s impressive prize collection since relocating to the Bernabeu in 2023.

Jude Bellingham was correct about Jobe all along; the Sunderland ace was destined to shine. Last season, Jobe Bellingham faced criticism at Sunderland. Overall, he had a terrific debut season in senior football and appears to have developed much this season. He’ll always have the Jude comparisons to contend with, and he’s certainly set a much higher standard for himself than Jude did when he was playing in the Championship.

However, speaking on his personal documentary series on YouTube before to the start of the 2024/25 season, Jude Bellingham revealed just how excellent he believes Jobe is. He said, “I’m concerned that people will assess him based on my successes. But I’m very cognizant of that because I know it’s something that people will always hurl at him, which is unfair since he’s an incredible talent and player in his own right. “People will use him as a way to have a dig at me and vice versa, so we’re almost like each other’s biggest fans but also the biggest target for each other because we care about each other so much.”

Jobe hints to his future at Sunderland. There has been a lot of speculation over Bellingham’s future at Sunderland, with so many elite teams looking into him. However, speaking after the Swansea game, Bellingham hinted at his future with the club, stating that he sees himself being at Sunderland for a bit longer. He stated, “The bond between all of us is enormous, but for me personally, I just sense the affection between the fans, and I adore it. Long may it continue.” It’s unclear whether Sunderland truly wants to sell anyone in January, let alone Bellingham. The midfielder, on the other hand, will concentrate solely on refining his game and realizing his potential, which Jude is well aware of.
