Leicester City dismisses Steve Cooper’s latest Premier League disgrace

Leicester City has fired manager Steve Cooper, making him the first Premier League manager to be fired this season. Chelsea defeated the Foxes on Saturday, and it was the last straw for the bosses at the King Power Stadium. In a statement, Leicester said: “Leicester City Football Club has parted ways with Steve Cooper, who will leave his post as First Team Manager with immediate effect.

“Assistant Manager Alan Tate and First Team Coach and Analyst Steve Rands have both departed the club. We thank Steve, Alan, and Steve for their contributions to the Club and wish them the best in the future.Men’s First Team training will be directed by First Team Coach Ben Dawson, with help from coaches Danny Alcock and Andy Hughes, as the Club commences the process of hiring a new manager, which we hope to complete as soon as possible.”
