Jamie Vardy achieves another unbelievable performance with a…

On Saturday, Leicester City rallied from behind to defeat Southampton with a last-minute goal. Cameron Archer and Joel Aribo scored for the hosts, who took a two-goal lead, leaving the Foxes looking bewildered. However, a second-half tactical adjustment from Steve Cooper and the introduction of Abdul Fatawu put life back into the away side and goals from Facundo Buonanotte and Jamie Vardy levelled the tie before Jordan Ayew’s stoppage-time winner sealed the comeback.

Jamie Vardy enjoys playing against Southampton After a quiet first half, Vardy was instrumental in Leicester’s comeback victory. He would win the penalty as Ryan Fraser tugged on the back of his jersey, depriving the number nine the chance to prod the ball home and equalise. Fraser was sent off, and Vardy scored from the following penalty. Vardy extended his fine run of form against Southampton, and according to Squawka, he has been directly involved in more goals versus Southampton than any other team. The 37-year-old has made 13 contributions versus the Saints, including nine goals and four assists.

Steve Cooper must begin revolutionary substitutions against Nottingham Forest. It’s been a hot issue in most Leicester talks, but Fatawu and Harry Winks will almost certainly start against Nottingham Forest next week. Fatawu and Winks came on in the second half and contributed significantly to the goals scored. If Cooper hadn’t brought on the two players, Leicester would not have won three points, and the pair should be rewarded with starts in the important game next week at the King Power Stadium.
