However, the Portuguese is thought to be content in Turkey right now, though he might be open to a future Premier League position. Mourinho took over as manager of the Super Lig heavyweights in June of this year, and the team is now fourth in the league after seven games.

Mourinho has already worked with the Friedkin Group during his time at Roma, which is one of the reasons he is regarded as a potential transfer target for the Merseyside club.
