Everton’s former manager, Keith Wyness, has praised the club’s “great” new deal with American catering firm Aramark. Speaking on the latest episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the 66-year-old, who was CEO at Goodison Park from 2004 to 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs, claimed the numbers will be “very good” as the Toffees prepare their offering for fans in the club’s new stadium.

Everton announced on August 8 that Aramark UK has agreed to assist in transforming the club’s new stadium into “one of the most revolutionary and advanced venues for fan experience in Europe”. The relationship will begin in 2025, when the club’s new waterfront home is scheduled to open. The installation of Aramark is expected to produce around 1,200 new jobs at Everton Stadium. Wyness thinks Aramark has a ‘huge reputation’ as the Everton agreement is finalized. The US-based corporation provides food and beverage services at prominent North American venues and major European football stadiums, including Berlin’s Olympiastadion and Madrid’s Cívitas Metropolitano.

Wyness told Football Insider’s Insider Track program, “It’s critical to get those revenues booked in as soon as possible.”This will contribute significantly to the new stadium’s projected earnings.Although football is not scheduled until next year, there will be numerous test activities between Christmas and then. “A lot of business will be conducted at the new location. “They need to be up and operating for the 2025-26 season. “Everton must ensure that everything is spot on.

“Aramark have got a big reputation around the world for what they’ve done, they’re innovative. “I know they’ll recognize the value in having a new stadium like Everton in their stable. “It’s a great deal and I’m sure the numbers will be very good. “I haven’t seen the specifics, but it will be very good.
