According to sources, Sean Dyche’s team would only be able to afford a loan transfer, thus the Toffees are reportedly interested in signing the midfield player this summer [Alex Crook, 23 July].

Journalist Thomas of Liverpool Echo feels that has prevented the Blues from knocking on City’s door, even if they may be willing to approve another temporary departure on their own terms.

On August 5, at 40:00, he made the following statement on the Royal Blue YouTube channel: “All those roads point to why Kalvin Phillips would make a lot of sense.”

The challenge there will be for City to figure out how much money they can collect for him in terms of salary and other benefits. If the conditions of the agreement were directed at Everton, I believe they would likely finalize the deal the next day.

Nevertheless, I believe that City would likely try to use all means at their disposal, such as transfer or loan fees, to obtain as much money as possible for him.

While teams are trying to get the best offer, Everton is in a position where they may knock on doors rather than force a deal and demand that they hand the player to them right away.
