Davante Adams has expressed regret for disparaging the Las Vegas team

Although Davante Adams and the Las Vegas Raiders are starting their third season together, some feel like it has been much longer. Trade rumors, rumors that Adams isn’t happy, and lackluster on-field performances have all been there since his arrival.

There were Super Bowl dreams when Adams got to Las Vegas. In the previous two seasons, the team’s record was 14–20. Adams has occasionally spoken his opinions when he thinks the squad should make changes, but this time he expressed his disapproval of a particular choice.

Gridiron Heroics published an article by Robin Adams in which Adams discussed the Raiders’ decision to let go of Derek Carr.

Adams revealed that he had requested a trade from the Green Bay Packers, who had placed the franchise tag on him, on an episode of “Club Shay Shay” airing on July 17. Despite their inability to come to an agreement on a contract extension, Adams was sent by Green Bay to Las Vegas, the team of his choosing.

Being from The Bay, I grew up rooting for the Raiders, as did my entire family. It was therefore, in a way, written. However, had Derek Carr not been under center when I arrived, I’m not sure if I would have taken the action.

Carr and Adams were Fresno State teammates in their collegiate careers. The decision of Adams to be traded to Las Vegas was mostly motivated by his desire to reunite with his friend and former quarterback.
