Rios is a Colombian central midfielder that Everton and Leicester are interested in signing. Andrade made this revelation when speaking on BAND, which Sport Witness translated on July 31. It’s known that Palmeiras is seeking a minimum of £12.6 million for the 24-year-old.
Andrade continues, “Arthur, the former Liverpool midfielder, is currently a member of Juventus’ roster.”
The Brazilian journalist informed BAND, “There is no information about Richard Rios, who was the main player of Colombia in the Copa América.”
Palmeiras assigns over €15 million (£12.6 million) to his representative. Everton and Leicester are the two English teams that are at least one level above Richard Rios. Former Grêmio and Juventus player Arthur Melo is another player that Everton is interested in. He currently relies on Juventus with Thiago Motta.
However, Palmeiras set a minimum value of €15 million to negotiate Richard Rios. However, since he is valuable, the plan is to keep onto him and try to sell only at the end of the year. To restate, Palmeiras holds 70% of the rights, followed by Guarani (14%), Flamengo (6%), and the player (10%).
