The Baltimore Ravens are known to follow Lamar Jackson wherever he goes. And that’s usually not a negative thing. Ultimately, Jackson has been named the NFL MVP twice, most recently the previous season, during which he passed for a career-high 3,678 yards passing, another 821 yards on the run, and 29 touchdowns passing and rushing combined. The problem here is that Jackson has been sidelined by a sickness since the Ravens veterans reported for training camp on July 20.
But the MVP quarterback for the Ravens was well enough to play when they took the field again on Saturday at the Under Armour Performance Center in Owings Mills, Maryland.
“Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has returned to practice after batting illness the first week of camp,” NFL insider Adam Schefter wrote on Twitter on Saturday afternoon.
Jackson appeared to be adjusting to his return to practice nicely.
According to PFT’s Charean Williams, head coach of the Ravens John Harbaugh stated, “I thought he did really well, especially considering the fact that he’s had to come back from illness.” “I felt he had a good look.
“He made a strong first impression. He was becoming more and more aware of himself as the practice continued. I was ecstatic about it.
