Leicester City has finalized the signing of Ghana international Abdul Fatawu from Sporting Lisbon. Last season, the winger helped the Foxes win the Championship title while on loan from the Jose Alvalade Stadium. The Foxes have now exercised their option to acquire the 22-year-old, who will join for an undisclosed price. Fatawu told the club’s official website: “I feel wonderful. It’s great to be back, and I’m just refocusing for next season.

“I’m extremely motivated to be in the Premier League. It’s something new for me. “I’m going to work hard for it with the team. I can’t wait to see [my teammates]. I’ve really missed them. “They’re like a family now. I didn’t expect to miss any of them, but when I went away, I really missed them!” Fatawu appeared in 43 games last season and scored six goals, including a hat-trick in a 5-0 victory over Southampton. He is the Foxes’ fourth summer acquisition under manager Steve Cooper, following Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Michael Golding, and Caleb Okoli.

Exclusive: Leicester City set their sights on signing Tottenham star Oliver Skipp.

According to Football Insider, Leicester City are looking into signing Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp. Spurs may be willing to let the center midfielder leave the club this summer, despite the fact that the academy graduate is a fan favorite and an important member of the squad. Leicester are looking for a central midfielder this summer, following Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s departure to Chelsea. The Foxes want to sign a Premier League veteran who can step right into the starting lineup.

Throughout his Premier League career, the 23-year-old has made 77 appearances and scored one. Skipp struggled to establish himself as a starter for Tottenham last season under Ange Postecoglou, spending the majority of his 21 Premier League outings on the bench. Leicester City wants to boost their team with Oliver Skipp. Even though Spurs may be willing to let Skipp leave, the midfielder is under contract until 2027, giving them a strong negotiating stance. However, Leicester are looking to improve their midfield ahead of their return to the top flight.

The Foxes have secured Wilfred Ndidi’s future as the midfielder signed a new contract that will keep him at the King Power Stadium until 2027. Tottenham’s decision on Skipp’s future may also be influenced by the situation with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. Football Insider recently claimed that Borussia Dortmund is interested in the 28-year-old, and losing two central midfielders without a replacement would be a significant blow.
