Everton is looking for a £27.5 million attacker compared to Thomas Muller.

With Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s future at Goodison Park uncertain, Everton boss Sean Dyche may consider adding another striker this summer. Newcastle United is apparently interested in the Englishman, but the Magpies are hesitant to match the Toffees’ current cost. Simon Jordan, an outspoken talkSPORT journalist, has claimed Everton should do everything they can to transfer the 27-year-old. However, before the transaction can take place, Eddie Howe is expected to attempt to move players on to comply with PSR laws. Everton appear to be preparing for any possibility, and good news has come regarding their pursuit of long-term target Iliman Ndiaye. The former Sheffield United player is reportedly close to completing his move to Goodison Park.

However, the Toffees’ striker chase shows no signs of slowing down. Maximilian Beier on Everton’s radar.

Maximilian Beier, a striker for Hoffenheim, is currently allegedly on the club’s radar. That’s according to German journalist Christian Falk, who has provided the most recent information on the 21-year-old’s future. He stated [via Caughtoffside]: “Chelsea FC is interested in German international Maximilian Beier from Hoffenheim.” However, the player is not yet convinced of the transformation. “This is not the first time an English club has expressed interest in Beier. Liverpool FC, Everton, Burnley, and Brentford all had him on their rosters.” Beier is now with the German national team at Euro 2024, and Falk has previously stated that he resembles Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller.

“He can play both on the sides and in the centre; he has done it before. It’s similar to Thomas Muller in that he’s neither a traditional winger or center striker; he can also play behind the No.9, making him a versatile footballer,” Falk stated in December 2023. Beier is said to have a £27.5 million release clause, which might entice Premier League clubs. Maximilian Beier’s Bundesliga record

Beier was an outstanding player for Hoffenheim last season, scoring 16 goals in 35 games. The 21-year-old was formerly on the roster of Hannover 96, where he scored 15 goals in two seasons. Now capped by Germany, the teenager certainly has something special about him and might be an excellent signing for a Premier League club. Given the amount of interested parties, this move is unlikely to improve Everton’s chances. It’s great to see the Blues linked with a promising European talent, but Everton fans shouldn’t get too enthusiastic.

The gears are undoubtedly in motion at Goodison Park as Everton’s summer transfer activity begins. Rumours are flying on Merseyside, with incomings and outgoings likely in the coming weeks and months. Former Aston Villa midfielder Tim Iroegbunam has already arrived, and Iliman Ndiaye, a long-term aim, is set to follow. Yankuba Minteh, Newcastle United’s winger, is also said to be interested in joining the Blues, but other teams are reportedly interested in the 19-year-old. With so many things on the line, the Toffees will most certainly need to find ways out in order to meet financial laws.

One departure was announced on Friday evening.
