Dr Rajpal Brar believes Chelsea striker and Everton target Armando Broja is still not fully recovered from his ACL injury. The injury specialist argues that, while he has had fitness concerns, there may be mitigating reasons that justify signing him this summer. This comes as the Toffees prepare to intensify their chase of Albania attacker [Ben Jacobs], who just played at Euro 2024, with any transfer expected to cost at least £25 million, according to AS on June 12. In an exclusive interview with Goodison News, Brar, a Physical Therapist and Sports Scientist, remarked of Broja: “He returned from an ACL repair, and you can always expect hitches along the way.

“The key thing will be to assess where his fitness currently is and where his habits are.”If they checks out and the value exists, the signing may certainly be justified based on his talent level. “He’s likely to still not be at 100 per cent and will need a good run of games next season to get there.” Everton should not waste time and money chasing Armando Broja. The Toffees can undoubtedly find better strikers for £25 million than Broja. The Albanian has failed to make an impact at Chelsea, failing to gain a regular starting berth and even being benched for his national team.

In that price bracket, the Merseyside club could look for proven goalscorers with more consistent track records in top leagues. Instead of taking a chance on an inexperienced player like Broja, they should prioritize strikers with greater experience and proven goalscoring ability.
