The 16-year-old attacker is poised to join the Toffees’ academy from Northern Ireland’s Linfield. Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph, he said: “I went there to see about the place at the conclusion of the 2022-23 season, and the overall vibe around the club made me think it was ideal for me. Everton seemed to offer a promising future for me. It simply felt perfect. “I was at Goodison Park on the final day of the season, when Everton defeated Bournemouth 1-0 to keep up. While watching that game, I thought, ‘I want to play here’.

“I was at Goodison Park on the final day of the season, when Everton defeated Bournemouth 1-0 to keep up. While watching that game, I thought, ‘I want to play here’. “My goal this season is to play in the Youth Cup at Goodison Park and then move on to the new stadium the following season. I hope to settle in fast with the Under-18s, then go to the Under-21s and make the first team as soon as possible.

“I watch every Premier League game. The dream is to play in the Premier League. I’ve had that dream since I was a kid, and it’s my objective.”
