Leicester City chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha has outlined three reasons why Steve Cooper has been selected as the club’s new manager. Cooper has secured a three-year contract to take over at the King Power Stadium, bringing the team back into the Premier League after they were promoted as Championship champions under former manager Enzo Maresca. Khun Top believes Cooper’s vision, as well as his ability to develop players and encourage a “dynamic” style of play, were important reasons in his selection.
He stated, “We are delighted to welcome Steve to Leicester City.” His vision for the club, including player development and dynamic play, aligns with the Club’s goals. As a leader, he has the power to enhance the tie that has been formed between our fans and our players, which will be critical to our club’s re-establishment in the Premier League.”
Cooper, in an open letter to supporters, stated, “I am very thrilled and proud to be chosen Leicester City’s First Team Manager. “A fantastic club with a rich history and passionate fans.”I am thrilled to be working with such a great squad, and I am looking forward to the challenge of reaching our common Premier League goals.”
