Hatters travel to Tannadice to confront the Terrors. Luton will play a pre-season friendly against Dundee United, who have recently been promoted to the Scottish Premier League. The Terrors had a fantastic season last year, winning the Scottish Championship title and regaining their place in the top tier of Scottish football after only one season away. They did so thanks to the efforts of on-loan Town goalkeeper Jack Walton, who played a key role following his transfer north of the border, keeping an astonishing 19 clean sheets in 36 games.
United will have already begun their campaign ahead of the game, with four Premier Sports Cup group stage matches against Falkirk, Stenhousemuir, Ayr United, and Buckie Thistle before hosting Rob Edwards’ side, the first time an English club has visited Tannadice in nine years. The game is scheduled for 7.45pm on Friday, July 26, and the Hatters have been allocated 1,000 tickets for travelling supporters. Dundee United will also broadcast it live for £9.99. Tickets will only be available online through Dundee United, with additional information and a full pre-season program to be revealed in due time. Prices: Adults pay £15. O65s and students under 18: £10. U16s: £5. Ambulant with PA (free of charge), and wheelchair with PA: £10.
