Breaking news: Everton has finally signed Jack Harrison permanently.

Everton have been linked with another bid for Leeds United winger Jack Harrison in recent weeks. Last season, the 27-year-old joined the Toffees on loan and appeared 35 times, scoring four goals and providing three assists. TBR Football understands that Everton and Leeds have agreed on a new loan deal for Harrison. Leeds did not intend to bring Harrison back into the squad this summer, unlike some of their other loan players, such as Brenden Aaronson. Everton have already agreed to new terms with Leeds, and Harrison will spend next season on loan at Goodison Park.

Everton inform Leeds that they intend to sign Jack Harrison permanently next summer. The Toffees have agreed to pay Harrison’s wages, same as they did last season. The winger has four years left on his current contract, making a permanent agreement extremely tough. However, TBR understands Everton have told Leeds that they hope to be in a position to sign a permanent contract once their takeover is completed during the season, and that if all goes as planned, he would move permanently next summer.

Harrison’s contract at Elland Road continues until the summer of 2028, and he has made 206 appearances for the Whites since signing on loan from Manchester City in 2018. What’s the latest on the Everton takeover? Last Friday, Daniel Friedkin, the owner of AS Roma, emerged as the new frontrunner in the bid to buy Everton. On Tuesday evening, Tuttomercatoweb claimed that Friedkin’s firm will pay Toffees main shareholder Farhad Moshiri €475 million (£401 million) for his 94.1 percent stake in the club.

According to the source, Premier League checks will take just over a month, but ‘in this situation it should be an almost evident permission and a minor accounting check.’
