Sunderland and Cardiff City target Blackburn Rovers. Bair hails from Ottawa, Ontario, and began his career as a teenager with the Ottawa Royals, Capital United, and West Ottawa SC before joining the Vancouver Whitecaps. He progressed through the MLS club’s academy ranks and represented several youth levels before playing 38 competitive games for their first squad, scoring three goals.

The 6ft 3inc attacker also went on loan to HamKam in Norway to gain experience. St Johnstone then pulled him away from Canada permanently for the first time in 2022, but he struggled to make an impression on the Saints. Motherwell gave him a second opportunity last year, and he has since become the club’s key attacking force. What’s next for the attacker?
