Milwaukee bucks has signed another player as malik beasley replacement worth $65 million from…
Due to their dearth of tradeable assets, the Milwaukee Bucks may turn to free agency to take care of any roster upgrades they may require before the start of the next campaign.
Although there will be a ton of well-known players available this summer, the Bucks just lack the financial resources to make a big impact. Milwaukee might sign Kelly Oubre Jr., a forward for the Philadelphia 76ers, as an under-the-radar addition.
In his Sixers debut this season, Oubre was a bit of a revelation. In 30.2 minutes of play, he averaged 15.4 points on 44.1 percent shooting, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.1 steals after joining Philadelphia as a free agent last summer. Additionally, he made 1.5 three-pointers per game at a 31.1 percent clip.
Oubre would be a fantastic match for the Bucks in 2024–2025, according to Adam Zippan of Behind the Bucks Pass:
“Signing shooting guard Kelly Oubre Jr. would be a dream come true, but the Bucks might not be able to pay his high salary,” Zippan said.
But as Zippan noted, the primary obstacle to Milwaukee’s possible pursuit of the 28-year-old may be money. While Oubre was on a one-year minimum contract with the Philadelphia Phillies last season, that may not be the case for him in 2024–2025.
The Bucks may not be able to get Oubre this season if he were to sign a larger contract, which would be necessary given how well he has performed this year.f
