Skylar Thompson has made a devastating statement about Tua Tagovailoa’s contract with the dolphins because…
Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel commended quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s offseason work, which included losing weight and working with a new quarterbacks coach, before to OTAs on Tuesday. McDaniel also stated that he believes Tagovailoa will improve even more in Year 3 of this scheme.
“It’s been really exciting because all he ends up doing is rising to the challenge with what we’ve been asking him to do,” McDaniel said. “At this point, we’re like, ‘Alright, let’s really push ourselves to challenge this guy.”
Though he missed some of the team’s voluntary sessions earlier in the offseason, Tagovailoa—who is about to reach the final year of his rookie contract—has taken part in three OTA practices.
Although the two parties are in negotiations, McDaniel would not specify last week whether any of Tagovailoa’s absences were due to issues with his contract.
Attending Tuesday’s organized team activity, Tagovailoa engaged in 7-on-7 drills and concluded the practice by tossing rookie receiver Tahj Washington a deep touchdown throw.
Raheem Mostert, the running back, remarked, “You can just tell that he’s building that confidence in himself.” “Even making these throws out here.” You want to see a guy like him doing what he needs to do, and that’s what he’s doing.”
