Andrew Carr explains why he withdraws from NBA Draft

Incoming Kentucky Wildcats forward Andrew Carr has officially withdrawn from the NBA Draft, according to Jon Rothstein.

Carr, who committed to Kentucky on April 28th, was also testing the NBA waters, though he was never expected to remain in the draft. Rather, he was using the process to get feedback from NBA teams on what to improve on entering his final season of college basketball.

The 6-foot-11, 230-pound Carr was an unranked class of 2020 recruit who signed with Delaware and spent two years there before transferring to Wake Forest, where he’s been the past two years.

In the 2022-23 season, Carr played in 33 games (all starts), averaging 10.7 points on 48.9% shooting (31.1% from deep on 3.2 attempts per game), 6.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 0.9 blocks per outing.
