The running back for the Miami Dolphins has announced his retirement at the age of…

Phase three of the Miami Dolphins’ offseason conditioning program has progressed, enabling the club to begin planning organized team activities and getting ready for minicamp, which begins in June. The Dolphins may resume their offensive vs defense 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 exercises during the off-season. They can also concentrate on implementing the playbook, making necessary tweaks, and getting ready for the intense South Florida summer training camp that begins in July.

Entering his tenth season in the NFL and his third with the Dolphins, running back Raheem Mostert just finished his first 1,000-yard season with 1,012 yards last year. He also made his first-ever Pro Bowl participation. In 2023, he also set a league record with 18 rushing touchdowns. Mostert, who was thirty years old when he joined Miami in 2022, set new records for his career with 181 carries and 891 yards. Last year, he exceeded both of those totals, including his 209 carries.

By age 30, most NFL running backs are heading into retirement or seeing their performances slip. Mostert seems to be getting better every year. How has he bucked that trend and continued to find success? Ross Tucker of the Ross Tucker Football Podcast recently spoke to Mostert about his success post 30-years-old.
