At approximately 01:45 GMT on Friday, according to the police, a car was pulled over in Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire.
The force also stated that a guy was taken into custody on suspicion of declining to give a sample of his breath.
Since then, Mr. Choudhury has been accused of driving while intoxicated.
Along with driving recklessly, the 26-year-old is also charged with refusing to cooperate during a preliminary examination.
Rushcliffe, Nottinghamshire resident Mr. Choudhury was freed on unconditional bail and is scheduled to appear before Nottingham magistrates on February 23.
He participated in Monday’s Foxes game against Ipswich.
