Reason why Micah Parsons and CeeDee Lamb were absent from starts of OTS
Micah Parsons and CeeDee Lamb are not present for the Cowboys’ Tuesday morning Organized Team Activities.
Regarding Lamb, this is not surprising, but I had hoped Parsons would make an appearance after missing the offseason program, like he did the previous year.
Like Lamb, Parsons obviously wants a new deal. However, his representative stated in April that Parsons’s absence from volunteer work had nothing to do with his contract, which may or may not be accurate. Despite this, I was hoping Parsons would come clean.
Micah’s circumstances differ slightly from Lamb’s. His rookie deal has two years left on it, and he will make slightly under $3 million this year and $21.3 million the following.
Lamb’s situation is a little different from Micah’s. With two years remaining on his rookie contract, he will earn little under $3 million this year and $21.3 million the next.
While Parsons still has two years left under team control after Dallas selected his fifth-year option this offseason, Lamb is about to reach the final year of his rookie contract with the Cowboys.
