Green Bay Packers approach Steelers’ quarterback Justin Fields for a transfer transaction in 2025.

Justin Fields, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, has had quite the offseason. After it was almost likely that the Chicago Bears would select Caleb Williams with the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the former first-round pick was forced to sit and wait to be traded to a new team.

After being traded to Pittsburgh, Fields reportedly expressed his desire to be traded to the Steelers.

For the first time as a Steeler, Fields confirmed that Pittsburgh was where he wanted to be. He stated that he told his agency that he wanted to play in Pittsburgh, but he believed that was no longer possible when the Steelers signed Russell Wilson. Fields said his agent told him that after the Steelers traded Kenny Pickett to the Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh could still be in play.

Hopefully, Fields can make the most of his fresh start in an Arthur Smith offense that appears to be a perfect fit for what he brings to the table.
