Robert Griffin III Issues A Forceful Remark Regarding The Lions
Despite having had one of the greatest seasons in team history, if not the best, the Detroit Lions are not content.
There are some unresolved matters that Dan Campbell and his coaching staff are aware of, and their schedule allows them to take care of them.
For this reason, former NFL player Robert Griffin III thinks they could make it to the Super Bowl this year.
Speaking on his podcast, the former NFL quarterback brought up the important point that they would only play three outdoor games during the season, with the most of their games taking place in domes.
For the same reason, he believes they should prioritize securing home-field advantage in the playoffs, which shouldn’t be too difficult given they will be favored in 13 of their 18 games the next season.
Griffin praised the Lions front management for being able to retool their defense in addition to securing the contracts and long-term commitments of their offensive playmakers.
There is nothing to dislike about the Lions; they were two good quarters of a mile from the Super Bowl the previous season, and at that point, they would have even had a chance against the Kansas City Chiefs.
