The rationale behind the jazz’s interest in Bronny James

The son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, guard  of the USC Bronny JamesTrojans, is the name that fans are keeping an eye on in the 2018 NBA Draft. Even though it is not anticipated that he would be chosen in the first round, a number of teams may target him in the second round in an effort to not only entice his father but also develop Bronny into a skilled player. The Utah Jazz are one of those teams that is reportedly in the running.

The odd thing about the Jazz’s draft selections is that, with the 32nd pick, which would put them near the top of the second round, they have the chance to snipe any other team’s chance of obtaining James. They’re not only intrigued, but according to Yahoo Sports’ Krysten Peek, they might even ask him “in for an individual workout.”

Peek stated, “Sources told Yahoo Sports that the Jazz have expressed interest in bringing Bronny in for an individual workout and could be interested in him with the 32nd pick.” “Under Danny Ainge’s direction, the team has been methodically rebuilding, and Ryan Smith, the owner, may have found the spark the Jazz need by bringing in Bronny in the hopes of attracting a superstar like LeBron.”

Not only is Utah anticipated to be a contender for Bronny James, but other teams are also rumored to be interested in luring in his father—or, in the Lakers’ case, keeping LeBron. The Miami Heat, who have a clear connection to the James family, the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the San Antonio Spurs are among the other teams mentioned by Yahoo Sports.

It has been known for a long time now that LeBron James says that while he has achieved everything a player can conquer in the NBA, the one memory he wants to make before he retires is playing with his son. He said this notably in an interview with ESPN’s Dave McMenamin where he did make the note that it could be “either in the same uniform or a matchup against him.”
