Early on Saturday morning, while combating a fire at a house in Boston’s Dorchester area, one fireman suffered injuries.
On Bowdoin Street, a multi-family house caught fire. There was a point when the situation became too dire and firefighters were told to leave the premises.
None of the residents were harmed, although one firefighter needed medical attention on the spot.
Boston Fire also responded to an early-morning fire inĀ Brighton, where several firefighters were treated for minor burns.
A fire that broke out early on Saturday morning in a house in Boston’s Brighton neighborhood left eight individuals without a place to live.
A house close to Ashford and Pratt streets is where the fire originated. Boston Fire acknowledges that at one point, due to the extreme intensity of the fire, all firemen were ordered out of the structure.
Minor burns were attended for by several firefighters on the spot. Damages from the incident were estimated to be $2 million.
