Christos Mandas, Lazio’s goalkeeper, has piqued the curiosity of Premier League clubs, including Manchester City and Leicester City. On transfer deadline day in September 2023, OFI Crete signed the shot-stopper for a fee of €900,000 with bonuses. He was not supposed to play this season, but was thrown into the spotlight following Ivan Provedel’s devastating ankle injury. Mandas has already been approached by Manchester City agents, while the Corriere dello Sport reports that newly promoted Premier League team Leicester City is also keeping an eye on the situation.

Manda’s price tag is established. Given that Provedel is undoubtedly the first choice for the gloves, the Greek shot-stopper could be permitted to leave for €15 million, resulting in a significant profit for Lazio. However, the Biancocelesti are also in upheaval under new coach Igor Tudor and may sacrifice Provedel instead. Mandas is 22 years old and has played 12 competitive games for Lazio this season, keeping five clean sheets.
