Clark is a strong starter, but he is 29 years old and should sign a deal worth around $13 million per year.

The Green Bay Packers should be in a quiet season right now, with training camp starting in two months, but this year’s summer drama hasn’t let us rest yet. With so much news, rumors, and conjecture floating around the team, including Jordan Love’s future contract and all of the camp battles expected this summer, let’s get into some current questions about your favorite NFL team. Does Green Bay have the greatest quarterback situation in the NFC North?

It’s time to have the old takes exposed. Personally, I believe the Packers have the greatest QB situation in the NFC North heading forward. I’m not worried about J.J. McCarthy becoming a star quarterback; yet, the Minnesota Vikings’ offensive talent may boost his output in the short run. I believe that giving $53 million per year to Jared Goff, a player who many thought was a money dump in the trade for Matthew Stafford a few years ago, is an overpayment – regardless of the market for starting quarterbacks.

The only quarterback that I can see potentially surpassing Jordan Love is Caleb Williams of the Chicago Bears, who has yet to play a down of NFL football. If I had to pick a winner, I would go with Love. What do you say, however? Who will be the Packers’ starting center in Week One?

This offseason, I feel like I’ve experienced whiplash on the center front. First, ESPN’s Rob Demovsky stated that the Packers’ staff regarded Zach Tom as a Hall-of-Fame center talent. Then, offensive line coach Luke Butkus stated that Josh Myers was “obviously” the team’s center and that he would be the only offensive lineman not to be cross-trained this offseason, despite the team’s need for a right guard and Myers’ experience of playing guard at Ohio State. Now, there appears to be a controversy over whether Myers’ only training at center indicates that he is the anticipated starter or whether the team believes he can only play one position in the NFL.

So, who will start in the center of the offense for Brazil versus the Philadelphia Eagles? At this point, nothing surprises me. Should the Packers extend Kenny Clark? This weekend, I noted that nose tackle Kenny Clark’s contract issue is far more interesting than Jordan Love’s, as the presumption is that Green Bay would pay the quarterback — because everyone usually does. Clark’s cap number is more than quadruple that of all but one player on the 2024 Packers roster (Jaire Alexander), yet he is entering a contract year. According to Over the Cap, Clark’s market value is approximately $12.9 million each year.

At 29 years old, do you believe the organization should extend Clark in order to reduce his short-term cap charge after kicking his former cap hits into the present? His short term
