I am not extending QB Reject’s contract with the Wildcats due to…

Despite having one of the greatest scoring offenses in the country and an incredible season, Kentucky’s Wildcats lost to Oakland in the opening round of the 2024 men’s NCAA tournament.

Next up, Lexington’s most recent reconstruction.

Kentucky has excellent one-and-done talent, as usual. However, the ‘Cats are expecting to lose more players than only leading scorer Antonio Reeves and talented rookies Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham.

For John Calipari and company, the good news is that they are used to busy offseasons. Having a six-player recruiting class is beneficial as well.

Two excellent guards, Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham, are the obvious choices to go. It is generally anticipated that both freshmen will be selected in the top 10 of the 2024 draft.

Leading scorer Antonio Reeves and important center Tre Mitchell have exhausted their college eligibility in front of them.

D.J. Wagner and Justin Edwards are the first controversial options; they will probably be included in the pre-draft round. Although they are both second-round picks, it is logical that they would be drawn to an NBA career even if they were able to improve their individual profiles with one more year of college.

Apart from recent graduates and potential NBA departures, Kentucky might see a few reserves go through the transfer site.
