The Green Bay Packers are interested in Josh Allen as a trade target.

The Green Bay Packers feature one of the NFL’s youngest wide receiver groupings. Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, and Bo Melton comprise an extraordinarily gifted group. They became that young and talented by moving on from several seasoned wide receivers in recent years. Now, one of those seasoned wide receivers might join Josh Allen in Buffalo.

One former Green Bay Packers wide receiver is visiting with Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. ESPN’s Adam Schefter says that former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling will visit with the Buffalo Bills on Monday. On February 28, the Chiefs released Valdes-Scantling, saving $12 million from their salary cap. It was also revealed that Valdes-Scantling had already visited the Los Angeles Chargers.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling has had an up and down career since leaving the Packers. Although he has struggled to put up consistent statistics, he remains a deep threat. The opportunity to play alongside Josh Allen in Buffalo’s high-powered attack has the potential to resuscitate his career.

Gabe Davis has joined the Jacksonville Jaguars, and Stefon Diggs has been dealt to the Houston Texans, thus the Bills’ wide receiver room looks very different from 2023. Buffalo acquired former Florida State receiver Keon Coleman in the second round of the 2024 draft, but the team still needs much more talent.
