With the transfer portal window closing, the Kentucky Wildcats are still looking to add to their 2024 roster.

Jay’viar Suggs, a defensive lineman at Grand Valley State in Division II, has had interest from several institutions, but the Cats are making a late push.

Suggs, a 6-foot-3 lineman, has earned offers from 37 colleges, but according to Kentucky Sports Radio, he will make an official visit to Lexington.

According to Warchat.com, Suggs has received more scholarship offers from Florida State, Miami, Louisville, Wisconsin, TCU, and Iowa, among others.

Last season, Suggs has 21 tackles (7.5 for loss), 5 sacks, and one forced fumble. Suggs is a graduate transfer who will still have two years of eligibility remaining.

Kentucky’s defensive line has recently been their strength, and adding depth to that group is a huge plus if the Cats can sign Suggs.
