Erica and Aaron have kept their relationship private since they met when Erica started working for the Rams. The couple got engaged on Erica’s birthday and have a blended family with their son and Aaron’s two children from a previous relationship. The couple is currently expecting their second kid together.

Erica began working for the Rams in community affairs and player involvement in 2015, when the team was in St. Louis before returning to Los Angeles. Aaron started playing with the Rams in 2014. According to her LinkedIn profile, Erica worked as vice president of player partnerships for game1, a multimedia company focused on the confluence of sports and Hollywood, in 2020. She is also a former executive with Kanye West’s Donda Sports, where Aaron signed in May 2022. Following West’s antisemitic statements, the pair decided to leave Donda Sports in October 2022.
“The recent comments and displays of hate and antisemitism are the exact opposite of how we choose to live our lives and raise our children,” Erica and Aaron stated in a joint statement. “We find them to be irresponsible and go against everything we believe in as a family.” Since leaving Donda Sports, Erica has taken over her husband’s marketing strategy.
“From a career standpoint, [I look forward] to continuing to help, support [and] uplift my husband,” she said on the insideLINES podcast, noting that working with your significant other has advantages and disadvantages. “We don’t really butt heads at work. Where things get hard is when he comes home [after] a bad day or a long day and I need to talk about anything [work-related].”
She graduated from Louisiana State University. According to her LinkedIn profile, Erica received a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and public relations from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As a student, she was a Delta Sigma Theta sorority leader and president of the student activities board. Aaron proposed to her twice.
The athlete proposed to Erica twice, first without a ring and then with one. “He proposed to me for the first time after four months of dating,” Erica told People (the TV Show!), adding that he did it on vacation but without a ring. “The second time he did it, it was my birthday,” she explained, before presenting host Lilliana Vazquez one of the three bands he had given her that day.
