Christ Brown delivered a pre-message to the Green Bay Charity Softball Game, which is taking place tonight, while they await his arrival.

Appleton, Wisconsin (WBAY) This year’s Green Bay Charity Softball Game begins at 6:15 p.m. Two fan favorites are facing off and swinging for the fences at the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers’ home. Jordan Love and Donald Driver will host this year’s event. Aaron Jones was supposed to host as well, but when the Packers cut him, he headed to the rival Minnesota Vikings.

On Mother’s Day weekend, Driver committed to celebrate all mothers and intends to introduce this young Packers roster to the public. This event benefits the Donald Driver Foundation, as well as Jordan Love’s new Hands of Love Foundation.

The organization wants to encourage children to participate in youth sports and raise awareness about mental health and suicide, particularly among law enforcement officers. Love’s father, a police officer, died by suicide in 2013. Many of his teammates are rooting for him today, including Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Bo Melton, and Tucker Kraft, among others. The game will be covered in full tonight on Action 2 News at 10 p.m.
