The Green Bay Packers possessed five picks in the first three rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft, but they seized the opportunity to draft offensive tackle Jordan Morgan with their first pick.

Morgan stands 6-5 and weighs 311 pounds, but scouts and analysts have expressed concerns about his arm length. The Arizona native’s arms measure 32 7/8 inches, which is slightly shorter than the league’s offensive tackle standards. Morgan, on the other hand, is not deterred by this. Instead, the 22-year-old is convinced that he will prove the skeptics wrong next season.

“I get that a lot, the short arm thing. You obviously haven’t seen a film. I mean, I use them fairly well. I get people off the ball. Morgan told NFL.com, “I pass set pretty well, I protect the quarterback, and you can see the stats. “It does not concern me. “I’m just going to prove everyone wrong.”

The Packers had many needs, but they thought that protecting young quarterback Jordan Love was a top concern, thus they chose Morgan to protect their budding star. Last season, Love had a breakout season, finishing with 4159 passing yards and 32 touchdowns while leading the Packers to a playoff triumph.

Morgan was a standout at the University of Arizona and will be hoping for an easy transition into the NFL. Morgan, the 25th overall choice in the draft, will under pressure to make an immediate impact in the league.
