Philadelphia (CBS) – Andy Reid has accomplished everything an NFL head coach can in 25 seasons, and more, than any other coach could have imagined.

Reid, the only head coach to have won the most games with two different organizations, is preparing to make his fifth Super Bowl trip in search of his third championship.

Reid was the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles for 14 seasons before establishing his domination with the Kansas City Chiefs. Reid won 130 regular-season games for the Eagles (the most in franchise history), 10 playoff games, six division crowns, five conference championship games, and a Super Bowl trip in 2004.

Despite going 130-93-1 with the Eagles (.583 win percentage) and propelling the team to new heights, Reid has been even better in Kansas City. Reid has led the Chiefs to eight consecutive AFC West crowns and six consecutive conference championship games. Kansas City has been to the Super Bowl four times in Reid’s 11 seasons, winning two of the previous three, as he ushers in a new dynasty not seen in the league since Bill Belichick and Tom Brady’s New England Patriots.

How has Reid improved so much as a head coach at Kansas City? The Chiefs are 128-51 (.715 win %) in Reid’s 11 seasons, and he has 15 postseason wins with the team. Remember, Reid was fired by the Eagles after a 4-12 season in 2012, his final losing season as an NFL head coach.

“I think he needed to leave (Philadelphia) to grow and learn from his mistakes,”
