Game 81 is here. The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Milwaukee Bucks in the third of four consecutive home games to end the regular season. This game has a lot to do with seeding and postseason placement in both conferences.
The Thunder stay in contention for the Western Conference’s top three positions, while the Bucks strive to keep the No. 2 seed from the New York Knicks.
This game has significance for the top of both leagues regardless of how it plays out. The Thunder have won three consecutive games and are hoping for a fourth after recovering from a three-game losing run.
With the Bucks having plenty of questionable players, they could be without a good portion of their core rotation. It’s a unique approach to a game that could tie things up for the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference, but prioritizing health is important ahead of playoff basketball.
The Thunder are now totally healthy, with the exception of G League designations, as the Oklahoma City Blue are in the third game of the G League Finals.
Odds have been updated
The Thunder is now a 15.5-point favorite, up from 9.5 points at the start. It’s difficult to fathom the Bucks’ problematic players playing, and Giannis Antetokounmpo’s absence is the cause for the Thunder’s early lead.
All signs point to the Thunder being able to win another game down the stretch of the regular season.
